simple as ..

It’s not everyday that I can find the time for just me – nor that I can turn off the IM’s or the business contacts in SL – let alone find the time to step out of the tough armor I wear – and feel emotions.
Today – it happened it happened due to hate-filled drama that was drug up from well over a year ago it involved some people – sharing of notecards, that were doctored – half truths – and a huge biased opinion spun in the authors favor – the title was cruel, and something that those close to me, are well aware of -
However, today, someone without cause felt a need to post about it – that is okay – friends were upset, and I simply stepped away from it –
I am just a gal.. a 36 yr old gal.. from Atlanta, a mom, a business owner, an active SL user – with professional ties .. not any better than Millie from Tuscan, Kellie from Maui, Stephan from Paris.. or even Santa .. from the North Pole.. I have been known to speak my mind, to separate business from friendship, and to be totally loyal to those whom I call a friend.
I am not one to let someone in close.. my inner circle is small, my flist is not filled with people – I value each and every one of them. Simple as that.
Rumors stir, people talk – they do so – to take attention off themselves – I am talking about MYSELF – not about anyone else – this is about me.. So you know I am talking about me – and you can see – I am not hiding – I am not casting doubt anywhere – I just have the final say here.. for MY statement is this..
I am not upset, at all – I am concerned actually that you would feel the need to stir drama, from a year ago, with no validity and reads like as if a 12 year old wrote it – that you would feel the importance and for the sake of “karma” – I’ve never done anything to you – even when you’ve pushed for information from me. I don’t know you, I do know of you, and honestly I hold no ill-will – rather I have pity for you, as it takes someone totally pathetic and jealous to “dig” and post that kind of trash about someone. So thank you – you’ve shown your true colors to me.
Thank you to my dear friends that truly know me, for taking the time out of your lives to get to allow me to get to know you, for having the ability to know that the venom spewed has been that of hatred and pure childishness – for making me laugh when I want to cry.. for simply being you.

I don’t know you Jori but you sound like a lovely person from the way you wrote that. I have no clue who you are referring to but I’ve always thought its hard to soar like an eagle when you’re surrounded by turkey’s. Hugs from a stranger
You have never, in over a year been anything but kind and caring. Don’t let people get to ya, kiddo. And know that your friends, the TRUE FRIENDS, we know and adore you.

Jori, you have to be one of the strongest people I have ever met in RL or SL. You’ve taken the brunt of a lot of asshats, and still hold your head up, not hiding under a rock. I’ve seen you step away from something you were doing, on more than one occassion to help someone in need. Offering yourself, when you can, without conditions. That right there, tells me, and anyone with 1/2 a brain you are about as golden as one can get.
Keep doing what you’re doing. And know that the jealousy and nastiness of others can merely be stepped over on your way to the top!
You are a strong person and NEVER let anyone tear you down to their level they will beat your with experience. LOL Honestly I have nothing but love and mad respect for you <3 you keep right on being you and piss on the rest of them.
