This is our first post of “He Said / She Said” here at WTWSL.com – Why?  How often have you asked yourself, “What does he think?” or even the dreaded, “OMG, what can she pick apart?”  This is where you will see that happen!  Light-hearted banter, actual opinions!

You will hear from T – who is eloquent and quite humorous, as well as pretty damn HOT!  The out-spoken, blonde, well… that would be ME, Jori – and together, we will walk you through weekly adventures of style, fun, and our journey in SecondLife.

We ventured out for a fun filled afternoon on the SICK sims, and poked around the great builds.. there are even “scenes” with poses and actions – was a GREAT TIME!

From Trouble:

In my efforts to “mix and match” with Jori’s prompting, I like this look.  An all-american guy in RL, Brooks Brothers by day, Polo, Nautica, Abercrombie, and good ole GAP otherwise, I’ve admittedly been a “mannequin” shopper most of my life.  I see it on the display, I ask a clerk to bag it, pay and go.  It’s the grown up version of “Garanimals.”  Remember those?
So pairing the Lapointe pinstripe shirt with the french cuffs and onyx cufflinks to the countryboy jeans made for boots from SFDesigns, and some serious leather riding boots from ANEXX was thinking outside the box for the all american boy next door… let’s see what Jori thinks.

Jori’s Thoughts:

T has a way about him, and he can rock cyberpunk to couture, and anything in between.  This outfit?  Hmm.. Cufflinks on a man, just SEXY! and him pairing the shirt with a pair of jeans tucked into some kickers.. HELL YES, totally unique, but with his personality he carried it off without an issue.

To pick apart this look, I would only have concern with the overall “length” of the shirt – just due to the fact I know they are longer in RL.  The jeans, which do work with this look – texture seems a bit over-done. The boots, a favorite from ANEXX – I have the matching ones in my virtual closet – so they are a total win.

I often find that I am drawn to the styles in SecondLife that I wear in RL – this outfit is no expection.  When I was getting dressed for the day, it was not to MATCH T – rather it was just a rare occasion to actually wear clothes :p  The COCO blouse had been sitting in my inventory, and was screaming to be worn! A hot lil number.. the detailing, the cufflinks.. a definite “strong” look – adding the detailed jeans from League, I felt it was a look that was simply sexy, I tried a few different pairs of boots, and finally landed back to the Truth Nomad boots.

Trouble’s Thoughts:

Jori is gorgeous… pixel gorgeous, person gorgeous, regardless of world.  These jeans are smokin’.  Texture is great, clear, proportioned, and tremendously detailed.  The pockets pop like something you could really put your hands into and I’m a fan of any designer who can create depth and dimension on such a level.  They have a “tom boy” appeal but when you add the boots, there’s no tom boy in them.  The complimenting red inside and on the bottom is like a smoke signal that she means business, and that is a reflection of strong personality and sex appeal to me.  Likewise, a woman in cufflinks I notice.  It’s strong yet sexy and if she carries herself well, it’s feminine and indicates to me that although she is all woman, she’s not afraid to play with and keep up with the boys.  Although I think the detail on her shirt is well done and the texture is quality, I’m personally not a fan of the bow.  Maybe it’s a feminine take on a men’s tie:  personally I’d rather see a woman in a man’s loose tie, shirt unbuttoned, showing some cleavage… that’s sexy and strong.  In my opinion, the jeans, boots, and the cufflinks here say “I could be yours if you think you can handle me” and the shirt says “but you ain’t getting in.”

and that.. does it for this week.. and the WINNER IS – both of us.. why?  He asked.. and I said YES!  It’s a WIN-WIN.
