This, being our second in the “He Said/She Said” brings some major excitement, fashion, banter, laughs.. and yes.. tears.  I had to actually recoup from the Colts losing of the Super Bowl.. **sighs** .. and the Saints.. well.. **coughs** heading home with the title.  It was just one of those things, that they got lucky.. right?!  We will go with that, and of course, to rub it in, T made sure we visited the Fat Tuesday sim, a replica build by Gospel Voom.

I cannot lie, Fat Tuesday is a kickass sim, the build is remarkable, and with everything Gos does, it’s totally brilliant.  Ambiance, nostalgia, it’s all there.

The fact that T, the dear one who says he is not one to gloat, oh, let me tell you – he gloated!!!  Not only to me, but on plurk.. and even made the comment of “Callin’ up Danika”

I am not the typical chick, T is not the typical guy, we banter and laugh, and yes, he totally blackmails me with the photos he captures of me when working, I.E. in a male shape, or worse, naked/bald.  Can you feel the love here?

It’s Mardi Gras… and not only that but the New Orleans “who dat” Saints just won the Superbowl… so, rather than going to “Disneyworld” for their superbowl win, I would imagine they are heading for Bourbon Street, an experience like no Disney.

To me, this outfit says Jazz: the fedora, the mandarin collar shirt, vest, trench, and sweet lookin shoes… gimme a sax, not that I know how to play but I think I could fake the look just standing on a street corner, and I thing N’orlenz would welcome me.

The shirt and vest by Laqroki comes in many variations with and without collar being one them and with an optional scarf. I thought the scarf here would be overkill so decided to let it be. And these jeans are becoming a favorite from Hoorenbeek: this is the low rise skinny jean in regular blue. The prim cuffs… if you’ve read any blog I’ve written, you know I like them… are versatile and well styled. And, if you purchase workboots in an untied version from Hoorenbeek like I do, they come with additional prim cuffs to match these jeans . I’m all about efficiency.

The trench from SF Design is perfect for this look: it’s not goth, it’s not terminator, it’s just slick. Prim attachments on the shoulders, cuffs, length, and collar (which has multiple attachments sites) create necessary dimension when creating layers. The shoes, Kalnin’s Janova, worn here in a grey looking, snake skin kind of color (Maris, if you read this, please bring the color names back to the menus) are just a great shit-kickin’ kind of look. The Argrace Fedora is touch to resize and recolor: once you edit your hair to fit the hat, exchanging and creating some different looks is pretty simple. The fedora has really found its’ way back into men’s fashion and I am liking it.

I am pretty proud myself for my advances in “mix and match.”

Jori’s Thoughts:

What is there NOT to love about T’s outfit.. from the tip of his head to the lil piggies on his feet.. He is totally smokin’ in this look.  And oh, yes, do not be fooled by the charismatic eloquence in which he carries himself – this man.. IS VAIN.

I love the fact that he is layering more, and even pulling combined looks into an outfit.  The time he has taken to even manipulate the hair prims – he actually understands, not every male in SecondLife has to look like a walking “outfit” advertisement for a store.

He has actually hit all the elements that I could point out in his outfit.  I like the overcoat, but I still love the look without.. so that is my personal pick, and I am adding a shot here.. so you can get a good look at the detailing.

I do have to add, the flare of styling, his eye for detailing, is right on the money.

I had NO idea what I was going to wear when I was getting dressed, and resorted to the “Dresses” folder in my inventory, and looking at alllllllllllll the stuff.. I started to think back to when I first actually started getting out of “Noob” looks, the freebie selections from malls, and groups, and seen the folders.. almost glowing at me..  Cupcakes has always offered a great style, and many of the items are under 200L – so being a thrifty shopper works!  In the last Hs/Ss – he mentioned wanting cleavage, and this certainly offers that

This is a very me look, in both RL and SL – so adding the Miel leggings in cream, and tossing my hair into a faithful Truth pony.. I was ready.. until I start looking for boots.. most anyone who knows me, knows I have a pretty severe shoe/boot addiction, and when I buy a pair, and like them.. just in case.. I go back and buy the fat pack if offered, or the single purchases, cuz a girl just never knows!  This is the case.. meet a favorite of mine,  DeLa Garcia – in “Bambi” **points to the title of the blog, and then to the statements below by Trouble.**

Accessories, as per my usual – all gifts from T (who seems to think shopping for a jewelry creator is hard.  Truth be told, it’s not.. why?  The presents he gives, are treasures – just like he is, and I quickly fall in love with them, just as I did with him)  .. and are worn daily.. and I call this.. “Dressed”

Trouble’s Thoughts:

There is a lot I love about Jori’s outfit. This hair is definitely one of my favorites: it’s messy and just relaxed. A woman who can put the smallest amount of effort into looking sexy appeals to me. This look captures that. First, I got cleavage and not a bow tied around her neck. This little dress, paired with some thermal looking leggings is just all Jori. The texture on the dress is crisp and clear and it falls nicely with good motion when she walks. And, the Argrace “Heartstrings” necklace that I bought for her, lays the perfect length.

What we must discuss are the boots. She thinks they are pretty slick, and we discussed this before writing the blog…

I am just not sure how I feel about boots made out of a little baby deer who died in a Disney movie, call me a wuss, I’m man enough to take it. And, sure they look slick. Clearly the texture is spot on its’ detail if I immediately recognized it to be a spotted white-tailed deer. I shot one on a hunting trip once: I’m not really a hunter; it was a career advancing business decision to comply. It nearly broke my heart. Never again. I think the boots might have conjured some of that trauma: killing Bambi and really disliking the guy I ultimately ended up working for. I killed Bambi to get a job, yes I admit.

Overall, this look really does reflect this beautiful woman’s personality and spirit. I love it when I can see her personality and pizzazz shining through.

This is a win for T, I wave the flag.
